The Heuer Autavia, the first chronograph with rotating bezel.
This Heuer has a traditional sporty style, with its black panda-style dial and tachymeter bezel. The white subregisters have aged towards a more off-white colour giving it a vintage look. The red hands and red endings of the indexes make the watch look more exciting. Heuer was the first brand to ever put a rotating bezel on a chronometer, which made the brand and this model specifically more popular and collectable.
The tonneau-shaped case looks good and fits well on the wrist, the Guy des Freres bracet fits it perfectly. The tritium on this dial is original and shows some age. However, the overall wear on this watch is minimal, the corners on the bezel are still very sharp as well.
Heuer chronographs are a very specific market and this is defenitily an interesting option when buying one. Visit our store and enjoy a cup of coffee when we tell you more about Heuer precision watches.
