Cartier Tank Louis Ref. 8190 ‘Moonphase’

The familiar case shape, an icon for over a century, this time executed in 18k yellow gold. But the twist is in the dial. Most noticeable is the moon phase indicator. An old-world complication that adds an extra touch of class (as if a Cartier Tank needs that!). But look a little closer and you will find the iconic Roman numerals are pushed slightly outward, to make room for a row of small numerals. Together with a third hand, this makes up the pointer date complication.

The moon phase is set with a pusher. This beautiful Cartier Tank Ref. 8190 comes with a Chopard-signed pusher to operate it. The original 18k yellow gold buckle is also still present.
