Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Ref. 25860ST B+P+SP
The AP Royal Oak, arguably one of the most important watches of all time…
Why? It was back in 1969 when Seiko launched its first Quartz watch, sending the traditional Swiss watch industry into heavy turmoil. Watches would soon become way cheaper and gone would be the days of craftsmanship and high-end watchmaking. Or would they?…
Audemars Piguet took a daring step. They hired designer Gerald Genta to design a luxury steel sports watch. Something that sounds completely natural nowadays, but that was a completely alien concept in those days. Sometimes a daring move pays off. And boy, did it. The luxury steel sports watch has been arguably the most desired watch type ever since.
This 2004 variant of the legendary Royal Oak is a 39mm silver-dial model with chronograph complication. It comes complete with original box and papers. An absolutely stunning watch for the sporty gentleman or lady.
